Trademark registration in France is done through the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).

Trademarks registered locally will also be protected in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint Martin, French Guiana, Reunion Island, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, Mayotte, Saint Pierre and Miquelon and French Southern and Antarctic lands. A trademark registered in France may in turn be extended to French Polynesia.
