2. A simple copy of the certificate of incorporation of the applicant company or an extract of the entry of the applicant in the commercial register or any equivalent document attesting to the legal existence of the applicant company
3. A certified copy of the corresponding home or foreign application/registration of the trademark (priority document) in case priority is to be claimed.

It is possible to file new trademark applications and obtain official filing certificates revealing filing number and date without copies or originals of the required documents which, according to article no. 6 of the Implementing Regulations of the GCC TM Law, need to be submitted after formal examination of the trademark application which normally takes place within one month from filing date whereby the trademark office will issue an official notification to submit the required document within 90 days from the date of notification otherwise, the trademark application will be considered as abandoned and never existed and will not be subject to reinstation.

Time frame from filing a trade mark application up to registration, on average, in the case that no office action or oppositions are issued or lodged: 8-12 months.
